it all started way back when in blacksburg, virginia. leslie and casey met through their mutual friend, tina, enjoyed college life and went their separate ways. casey moved to arlington, virginia and leslie had another year left in college and then moved to raleigh, north carolina. fast forward two years and leslie is moving to arlington. perfect timing because casey and tina need a roommate. the rest is history. casey and leslie became best friends – bonding over their love of virginia tech, philly sports, urban outfitters, burgers and beers, hour long television dramas, and dressing up in costumes for any occasion.
now leslie lives in richmond and casey lives in japan. they are still best friends even though they no longer share an apartment. and so they share the tales of their cities with each other and with you. with hope that they will one day be able to share their tales from one city or at least one coast…

casey is currently living in japan. she has spent the last couple of years moving all around the country with her navy pilot husband, matt. they are borderline obsessed with their rescue pup, sadie. if casey were to describe her perfect day it would involve her family and friends, sadie, the beach, a really great book, some mexican food and beer, and possibly a little reality television. she has a hot pink eighties prom dress on stand-by so that she can be ready at a moment’s notice for whenever it might be needed. she misses her best friend because she knows that leslie would be ready with the crimper and scrunchies.

leslie is currently living in richmond, virginia. leslie and her husband, nick, have relocated south after spending the past couple years in the northeast in new york city and new jersey. they have a little girl, waverly, who is such a happy baby! their yellow lab, cole, is the softest dog and perfect companion. if leslie were to describe her perfect day it would involve walking through the west village in new york city with waverly, letting cole play with other dogs on the sidewalk, and having dinner and a glass of wine with nick at one of their favorite restaurants. she loves adventure and experiencing new places and cultures. she misses her best friend because she knows that casey is always game for whatever leslie has in store.
