Happy Monday!

Hope you are all having a great Columbus Day or day off  :)

This weekend was a great fall weekend in NYC...there was a lot of sports watching going on for the Phillies-Cardinals playoff game, Virginia Tech vs. Miami and Philadelphia Eagles vs. Buffalo Bills.

Let's just put it this way...Casey and I root for all the same teams and I think that I can say for the both of us that we'd like to wipe Philadelphia sports off the viewing schedule for the rest of the fall/winter.  Since the Phillies lost in a terrible "we can't bat or stay on the bases" last playoff game...that's a given.  Sad and stressful game.  I can't imagine what the Heughan household was like, but I hear that phone calls to Currituck were avoided!   The Eagles can't seem to lock it up and there is no cohesiveness to that team right now....thanks for the curse, Vince Young.

ouch.

getting run over.

BUT in positive news, Hokies pulled out a great win in what looked like a perfect fall day in Blacksburg, VA.  Watching it from NY made me really miss those football Saturdays and tailgating on the most beautiful campus.  GO HOKIES!  big win :)
